BROMINE

Please note that these are general recommendations only

CHEMICALS REQUIRED

Bromine tablets, shock treatment, test kit, Alkalinity increaser, and Filter degreaser

START UP

Crush 1 bromine tablet and add to spa water
Place 2 bromine tablets to floating device or skimmer box
Run spa filter for 1/2 hour and test for bromine and adjust the ph

WEEKLY

Maintain an average of 1 + 1/2 bromine tablets in skimmer or floating device (More or less if required)
Add 3 tablespoons of shock (potassium peroxy-monosalphate)( with cover off) and run spa for 1/2 hour.
Test for bromine and adjust ph and total alklinity with alkalinity increaser

MONTHLY

Follow weekly treatment
Remove and clean filter

4 MONTHLY

Follow weekly treatment
Remove filter and soak in filter degreaser
Empty and replace 30% of water

NATURE II

Please note that these are general recommendations only

CHEMICALS REQUIRED

Nature II, Shock treatment, Chlorine (lithium hypochlor), test kit, Alkalinity increaser and filter degreaser

START UP

Fit nature II into filter (as per box instructions)
Add 4 teaspoons of lithium-hypochlorite to spa water (per 1000L)
Run spa filter for 1/2 hour and test and adjust the ph

BEFORE EACH USE

Add 1 tablespoon of shock

WEEKLY

Add 3 tablespoons of shock (with cover off) and run spa for 1/2 hour
Test for and adjust ph and total alkalinity with alkalinity increaser

MONTHLY

Follow weekly treatment
Remove and clean filter

4 MONTHLY

Remove filter and soak in filter degreaser
Empty and refill spa water, renew Nature II and proceed to “START UP”

Advantage of Nature II: No chemical smell. PH wont vary dramatically

SPA SANITIZER PLUS

Please note that these are general recommendations only

CHEMICALS REQUIRED

Spa Sanitizer Plus, Shock treatment, test kit, Alkalinity increaser and filter degreaser

START UP

Add 4 to 6 teaspoons of Spa sanitizer plus to spa water
Run spa filter for 1/2 hour and test for and adjust the ph with alkalinity increaser

AFTER EACH USE

Add approx 1 teaspooon of Spa sanitizer plus – no more in one day

WEEKLY

Add 3 tablespoons of shock (with cover off) and run spa for 1/2 hour
Test and adjust ph and total alkalinity with alkalinity increaser

MONTHLY

Follow weekly treatment
Remove and clean filter

4 MONTHLY

Remove filter and soak in filter degreaser
Empty and replace 30% of water
